Art-Deco In El Salvador

Art-Deco exploted in the 40's and 50's in El Salvador and as down town grew so were the buildings showing this style, unfortunately this building haven't had much luck, nobody pays attention to them anymore and keep deteriorating...people just think they look old... I hate it when people don't appreciate good work...

FRANCESCA MIRANDA

Born in San Salvador El Salvador, but her aspirations and dreams led her to Colombia married a Colombian nearly 20 years ago. Before entering the world of fashion she studied marketing in the U.S. She specialized in Fashion Merchandising and several years ago started designing under the pseudonym XANGO. Three years after its launch with anonymity left aside put her name to her first line of male clothing. Her collection had a Caribbean style, and linen suits prevailed. She created a brand of clothing for women called "City People". Her creations have a sexy style, with lace, transparent blouses and trousers. Taking the first step...Here I am

After browsing hundres and finding that there are millions of interesting blogs out there and that mostly architectural blogs come from Europe I want to show the world that here in the smallest country in America we also have Architecture, Fashion, Art, Design and creativity....we might not have the resources to create Tall Buildings and amazing structures since we are a third world country and all but we are kind of getting there... we are about 100 years behing (this is just a figure of speech) but we are getting there... so let me show you that El Salvador is not only what you see in the news about war and political distress.. ( we don't have a war anymore) but that it's also a country full of hope and art in all forms... Let me show you what I see.
